Baltimore City Election Day

Does anyone even care? It sure would be nice if there was a reason to go to the polls. Unfortunately, in the (not so) Free State, we have a one party system. The Republican party has simply rolled over and died. Great job guys. You should be commended.

200 Murders In Baltimore And Counting…

If it’s not the Mayor’s fault, and it’s not the Governor’s (the former Mayor) fault, then it must be Ehrlich and Bush’s fault. Mayhaps Mayor-By-Default Sheila Dixon will blame it on the full moon again. Disgraceful.

Cal Ripken: Hall Of Famer

Something for Baltimore, nay, all Marylanders to be proud of. Cal Ripken represents an era in baseball that is sadly long gone. Cal is a man who played for the love of the game, and not for the money.

From the Sun:
The mayor thanked Hamm for his service but said, “I believe it is time for new […]

Breaking News: Hamm Steps Down

The Sun is reporting that Baltimore City Police Commissioner Lenny Hamm is throwing in the towel. Mayor-by-default Sheila Dixon is expected to make a formal announcement tomorrow. Perhaps the Mayor will re-hire ex-commissioner Ed Norris, who seems to be the only person with a formidable crime plan for the City.
Hamm’s legacy, from the Sun:
With 176 […]

Dixon Leads In New Poll

According to a new Sun Paper poll, Mayor-by-default Sheila Dixon is heavily favored to win the Democrat primary in September. Since there’s no Republican candidate, the primary is THE election.
From the Sun: (emphasis The HON)
With less than two months until the Sept. 11 primary election, Dixon leads City Councilman Keiffer J. Mitchell Jr., 47 percent […]
