The numbers are coming in and it looks like the two winners destroyed the competition. In the undercard, Senator John McCain beat Mike Huckabee 55% to 31%. Looks like MD Republicans prefer their candidates wishy washy and boring rather than overtly religious and semi-witty. To each his (or her) own. Like so many others, we’re […]

Well, our muscley-armed Gov. Martin O’Malley stuck his neck out early for Hillary. After tonight’s “Potomac Primary Pummeling” of Hillary by Obama, it would appear that an endorsement from MOM isn’t worth as much as you’d think. Another in a long string of bad news for the so called “Teflon Leprechaun”.
Why is Hillary’s loss important […]

Today is primary day. Don’t forget to be good little Americans and exercise your right to vote.
UPDATE: Due to the ice storm and numerous road closings causing the worst traffic jams in years, polls will remain open until 9:30PM. Slow down, take your time, and carefully get to the polls.

The Washington Post has the story. John Edwards got a $1250.00 haircut. Fellow MBA member Dave from The Hedgehog Report said it better than we could:
There are two Americas, one where guys get haircuts for $15 and John Edwards’ America, where haircuts go for $1250 a pop.
Is John Edwards irrelevant yet? If not, let’s hope […]

Scariest quote of the day goes to Hillary:
You know, we can’t keep talking about our dependence on foreign oil and the need to deal with global warming and the challenge that it poses to our climate and to God’s creation and just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be […]

Our ever handsome Gov. Martin O’Malley was in New Hampshire yesterday stumping for Hillary, and trying out for the Vice-President slot on her ticket. Not sure why he thinks it’s all right to go galloping all over the country while all of us here in Maryland are stuck with rising electric bills, climbing murder rates […]

As we speculated in an earlier post:
With Babs now in charge of Hillary’s campaign, can we expect that Ms. Clinton will be stopping by Maryland and shining a little light on our fair Governor Martin O’Malley? Could Martin be nudging his old friend Babs and suggesting that he’d make a great VP? These are certainly […]

During last night’s Democrat Presidential debate, one question imparticular revealed more about each of the Democrat candidates than any other. Moderator Brian Williams asked the candidates:
[Candidates], if, God forbid a thousand times, while we were gathered here tonight, we learned that two American cities have been hit simultaneously by terrorists and we further learned, beyond […]

From AP:
Hillary Clinton is looking to another trailblazing woman in politics to help her become the nation’s first female president.
Clinton’s campaign announced today that Senator Barbara Mikulski, will be co-chair of Clinton’s presidential bid. Mikulski joins former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack on Clinton’s campaign. She is the first woman Democrat in the Senate to be […]
